Kayajan attended Parsons School of Design and draws from her years of practicing graphic design and architectural design. Working with retail clients she was inspired by the creative process and began lending her talents to textile design and accessories. Having grown up on Cape Cod she wanted to create a line that was relaxed, fresh and modern but still classic in style. Kayajan’s hand-screened signature prints, her use of color and attention to quality and detail make this her signature style. Patterns inspired from places and culture hinting to a sense of the past, while the aggressive and innovative use of color makes it more modern. This is organized into rich thematic concepts to inform a sense of lifestyle through the color choices and detailing applied to each collection is the unique combination that creates the Ferran style. The Ferran Collections include our print textile line, home collection, accessories and our sleep and loungewear lines. Ferran is carried in high-end boutiques and department stores around the world.
